    In machines like, Compressors both Roatery and centrifugal,other pumps used in Boilers,Evaporators etc, water is circulated to cool down the equipment. When machines parts continuously moved or roated or worked a lot of heat generated due to teeth of gear wheel meshes for the working of the equipment. The continous heating of such gear wheel of the machineries will result in failure. This water circulation is for cooling the gear wheel and other parts.100 degree is the boiling temp of water. But this hot water tap means draing water. Water temp should not reach 60-75 degree in abnormal case

    no not quite 100C, but fairly near-something like 85C
