You have to christen it with the holy trinity of Starbuck’s beverages…Tall, Grande, and Venti. Out with the old, in with the new, you know…=0)

  • ``The Floridian`` says:

No, only over things that float in water… Possibly a new double boiler!

Now… what you described is for a boat or vehicle.

For a new expresso machine, you need to put your mouth on the frother and turn it on…

However, since you’re talking about a christening, you fill the tub with water… plug in the espresso machine (turn the machine on) and you jump in the tub of water with the machine.

Breaking a glass or bottle over the espresso machine might break the machine. How about just bumping coffee mugs with a guest instead?

  • Spanky G says:

It’s important to clean it thoroughly… all those hands in manufacture picking all those noses.

With a cup of coffee you heathen!

And not a mass marketed Starbucks brew either, plebeian! Brandy snifter to maximize aroma and minimize damage filled 1/3rd by a dark roasted blue mountain.
